Art
This is a collection of various pieces of art I have produced over the years. I enjoy creating new styles of art. I also enjoy studying the techniques of other artist by producing original works in their style. This process helps develops my own technique and broadens my creative repertoire. All the pieces were produced by hand.

This piece was produced using only paper cutouts from magazines, particularly watches.

This piece was also produced using only watch cutouts from magazines.

This painting was produced in the technique of the early pop art artists who used paint, instead of digital media, to produce different themed artworks in this genre. The challenge was cracking the code on how the benday dots were produced. I render Louis Armstrong playing the notes to his famous song.
Oil on Canvas
48"x 36"
This is a famous portrait I produced as a study of the renouned American Portrait Artist John Singer Sargent.
Oil on Canvas.
36" x 48"
This is a wildlife piece I did in a series of paintings that was inspired by a night safari in Africa. I wanted to experiment with how a painting could be rendered using all black paint. I experimented with impasto (thick painting) techniques. The luminosity (shine, shadows, reflection, etc.) of the black paint illuminates the areas in the painting. With the exception of the eyes, (in which I used strontium aluminate) it is produced using only oil paint.

This painting of 3 male lions I also created using the all black technique.
Oil on Canvas
72" x 48"
This is another painting I created using the all black paint technique. In this one I added a touch of color.
